Dr. Picolya McCall Certified Psychedelic Assisted Therapist

Dr. Picolya McCall-Robinson is the Founder and CEO of Nsight.Me. Through her agency, she created a specialized treatment strategy that utilizes a whole-family-approach in psychotherapy. She also offers private coaching and consultation services to individuals who would like the benefits of licensed professional psychologists without being restricted to traditional and stereotypical therapeutic approaches.

Dr. McCall-Robinson has noted that traditional settings in psychotherapy do not always help patients with specialized issues such as sexual dysfunction, to express themselves adequately due to the fear of being open, and some of the stigmas associated with participating in “therapy”.

Dr. McCall-Robinson loves sharing knowledge about psychology whenever she can. She is currently working as an adjunct instructor at the Los Angeles Community College District, as well as the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. In these capacities, she continuously shares her knowledge about working with underserved populations, minority groups, and the most vulnerable people within society. These teaching opportunities also offer her an opportunity to share her professional and personal experience as a psychotherapist. When she is not teaching, she is utilizing her professional background education inputs and private clients (life coaching and consulting) or acting as a guest speaker to student conferences, seminars in organizations, or in offering live webinars through her website.

She is currently the clinical director at PACC Mental Health services where she provides individual therapy to children, adolescents, and adults struggling with various mental health issues. Dr. McCall-Robinson serves in the role as the clinical coordinator for PACC’s internship program as well. She also serves in the role of a Psychologist in a Long-Term Care (LTC) working to support not only the residents but those invested in the residents’ care and quality of life, including staff and family caregivers.

Dr. McCall-Robinson acted as Director of Clinical Services at LACADA, where she was responsible for the substance abuse treatment program geared towards those who are released from prison and are on parole. Here she was able to offer her expertise and familiarity with the disparities and barriers this population faced when trying to reintegrate into society. Her extensive background working in psychiatric facilities enables her to work with those with a dual diagnosis.

She believes in the holistic perspective of an individual, but also understands the importance of tailoring her therapeutic services to the needs of each of her clients. She values the process of self-discovery and forgiveness and believes that these two concepts are essential in restoring hope to those who often feel broken, misunderstood, and hopeless.

Dr. McCall-Robinson has been featured on news outlets such as Florida's Black News Channel where she offers expert opinion on various mental health trends. Aside from her professional duties, Dr. McCall-Robinson is a United States Patent owner of a device that helps those who report certain sexual dysfunctions.  Dr. McCall-Robinson enjoys outdoor activities, exercising, spending time with trends and family, and traveling with her husband. Her best way to express her creative side is through writing and innovating products for the company. She hopes that her patent will make it easier for individuals suffering from sexual dysfunctions to find alternative pleasurable ways of coping with their condition in a natural environment.

Dr. Tymera Hines, Psy. D

Dr. Tymera Hines, Psy. D

Dr. Tymera Hines, Psy.D., is an Autism specialist, author, and innovator who brings a broad range of creative leadership to clinical practice, mental health, and beyond. With nearly a decade of expertise in case management, she has honed her skills as a senior-level administrator, creating impactful programs and providing guidance to junior staff.

Currently, as a level senior clinical supervisor, Hines conducts assessments, develops new treatment intervention programs, provides field supervision, and manages staff while balancing her growing philanthropic and entrepreneurial endeavors. As an author, she wrote and published a youth-centric book in 2020 entitled, “Super Sense to the Rescue: Staying Calm in the Classroom and on the Playground.” The helpful guide is a resource for teaching children how to implement coping skills to regulate maladaptive behaviors when feeling overwhelmed or nervous in social settings.

Hines’ desire to help others extends beyond her professional background and the pages of her recent book. She learned at an early age, from the women she admires most --- her mother, grandmother, and aunt --- to be selfless and compassionate. As a result, Hines launched, “We Make a Real Change,” a nonprofit dedicating to providing online therapeutic care to families and children that typically lack the resources and accessibility to similar supportive services.

In her spare time, Hines uses her creativity to try new things. After taking a sewing class, she realized there was a need for the development of children’s sensory products. Hines is currently working on designing, producing, trademarking, and licensing a full line to launch later in the year. Production will include clothing, toys, and books.

Hines lives by the motto, “our choices may not define who we are, but they describe our journey and when I look over my life I hope to highlight the moments and not reach for the whiteout.”  Given her continued growth and accomplishments, she is doing just that.
